Emily Kappes works closely with Allied Works’ Senior Leadership and project teams on the design and development of cultural, commercial, and residential projects.

Emily has been working with Allied Works at the intersection of material, craft, and spatial solutions since 2006. She has been instrumental in the conceptual design of projects at all scales, from furniture to large work spaces. With a special interest in material innovation, Emily has made major contributions to cultural projects such as the design of the cast in place concrete texture at the Clyfford Still Museum, and the custom glazed ceramic tile at the National Music Centre of Canada.
