Wieden + Kennedy on Portlandia

Allied Works' Wieden + Kennedy Building was featured in the first season of Portlandia, a comedy series which airs on the IFC Channel. Creators and co-stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (a former W+K employee) give the audience a glimpse of life within this creative advertising agency, and in the process lead viewers on a frenetic tour through all six levels of the building.

Clyfford Still Museum 3D Projection Mapping by LEGWORK

In late 2011, Denver-based design studio LEGWORK was asked to develop a full-scale projection mapping and motion graphics for the opening of the Clyfford Still Museum. Presented during the museum's inaugural First Light gala, the looped, three-minute piece covered the entire south façade of the museum, and plays upon the materials, massing and solidity of the building to create stunning visual effects.

The Denver Post produces a video on the installation of the Clyfford Still Museum

Anne Herbst and Kyle MacMillan of The Denver Post produce a staggering video that documents the installation of more than 100 artworks at the Clyfford Still Museum. Museum Director Dean Sobel and his team speak about the process, trials and excitement of seeing Still’s work in the galleries for the first time. The Museum opens to the public on November 18th.

Following the search for an American city to build the single artist museum and an international design competition to select a building design, Clyfford Still's much-anticipated museum will open its doors on November 18th. Located in Denver’s civic center, the new museum will house 94% of Still’s total creative output and provide a compelling environment in which to view and appreciate the American artist’s work and learn about his life and impact. The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts and the Graduate School of Architecture & Urban Design at Washington University St. Louis have named Brad Cloepfil as the Ruth & Norman Moore Visiting Professor this Fall 2011. The studio, "AMPLIFIER: Four Acts of Immanent Architecture", will examine four distinct sites and the cultural, environmental and experiential landscapes manifested in them, with the intent of developing resultant and responsive acts of propositional architecture. The release of the book represents the Brad Cloepfil and Allied Works’ first publication, documenting nearly every project the firm has worked on since the firm’s founding in 1994.
